About the Founders
James and Patti Ballentine have a passion for helping people, particularly those in the Washington Metropolitan area. As lifetime residents of D.C. and Prince George’s County, MD they have seen the community change and seen the need grow. Over the years they have used their time and resources to volunteer and serve their local community. They are particularly drawn to helping children, women in shelters and those that have been displaced from their homes. They strongly believe it is their duty to be a blessing to others especially those who find themselves in situations of hardship. James has spent over thirty years lobbying on Capitol Hill and working on various grass roots projects. Patti spent twenty years with the Environmental Protection Agency in the area of environmental outreach and education and fifteen years with the Prince George’s County Public School System. They both know the value of making connections in order to make a difference in the lives of others. Their mission is to be of service in any way possible.
